Join us in person for the Merseyside’s Child to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA) conference to explore evidence, practice, and teamwork in action.
This in-person event being hosted by the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (MVRP) and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), will bring together experts and practitioners to explore the latest in evidence-based approaches, share hands-on practices, and build strong partnerships.
The event will be opened by Merseyside’s Police and Crime Commissioner and include sessions on the national survey on CAPVA, neurodiversity and disabilities and CAPVA and on the CAPA First Response toolkit.
Themes for discussion will include definition and types of CAPVA, support services for parents and families, risk and protective factors, practitioner training and support.
